Why I Love it: In my opinion, this is the one of the best cards you can keep in your wallet. It’s perfect for both newbies and long term point pros alike AND they just added an absolute deluge of new bonus categories and benefits. Chase and their Ultimate Rewards program feature an incredible list of transfer partners like Hyatt, British Airways, United, Singapore Airlines, Aeroplan, Air France, Virgin Atlantic, IHG, and Marriott. For a relatively low annual fee of $95 you can bonus points on a slew of categories, and if you carry this card you can merge the points you earn from Chase’s cashback cards like the Freedom Flex and Freedom Unlimited. If you have a business, you can merge points from those cards as well. I use the Chase Sapphire Preferred as a cornerstone in my Chase portfolio.
